Main information about the project
Nowadays because of modernization of education in Turkey and Latvia it is entered a new stage of interactive learning by means of new technologies.
Our project is intended for primary, secondary and university level students, family of them and foreign language teachers entirely in Diyarbakır and Jelgava.
According to the problem the aim of the project is to expose new approaches by evaluating the applications which are used Europe-wide for applying innovative methods (ICT) in foreign language teaching.
The main aim of the NAFLT-ICT project is to provide Web-based materials in ICT for teachers of languages. These materials will be valid as a free recourse for language teachers of city Jelgava and Diyrbakir.
During the project Partners will study and learn from a comparison, compare the Language teaching methods of 3-5 closest countries’ to make the best system of teaching and learning languages.
The project will require participatory leadership, it will be given the chance of mutual learning from each other and it will be organised courses for language teachers how to work with ICT.
The outcomes will contribute towards using ICT in language learning classes, improving the quality of education at education institutions, improving the motivation of learning foreign languages among the students. It will also encourage processes such as teacher professional development, school-based training and reflective practices.
